Terms of Service
Last updated: February 2026
Kyew is operated by Jordan Cauley, an individual developer. By using Kyew, you agree to the following terms.
Service description
Kyew is a continual learning MCP server that provides persistent memory, reusable skills, and custom tool capabilities for LLM clients. It is currently in beta.
Beta status
Kyew is provided as-is during the beta period. The service is currently free to use. Pricing may be introduced in the future, and you will be given notice before any changes take effect.
Your data
Ownership
You retain full ownership of all content you create through Kyew, including memories, skills, custom tools, and connections. Kyew does not claim any rights over your data.
Backups
Kyew is not responsible for data loss. While reasonable efforts are made to maintain data integrity and availability, there are no guarantees. You should use the export tool regularly to back up your data.
Anonymized usage data
Kyew collects anonymized usage data (such as tool usage frequency, feature adoption, error rates, and request volume) to improve the service. This data is aggregated and never includes the content of your memories, skills, prompts, or other stored data. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Acceptable use
You are responsible for the content you store in Kyew. You agree not to:
- Store illegal content or use the service for unlawful purposes
- Attempt to access other users' data or circumvent security controls
- Abuse the service in ways that degrade it for other users (e.g., excessive automated requests beyond rate limits)
- Use Kyew to store sensitive credentials, passwords, or secrets (use the dedicated
connectionsfeature for API keys)
Rate limits
API rate limits apply to all users. The default limit is 100 requests per minute. If you exceed this limit, requests will be temporarily rejected. Rate limits may be adjusted as the service scales.
Code tools
Kyew allows you to create and execute custom JavaScript code through code tools. These run in sandboxed Cloudflare containers with CPU and memory limits. You are responsible for the code you write and execute. Code tools require approval before activation as a security measure.
Dynamic tools and external APIs
When you create custom tools that call external APIs, those API calls are your responsibility. Kyew proxies the requests on your behalf but is not responsible for the behavior, availability, or terms of third-party services you connect to.
Uptime
There are no uptime guarantees during beta. Reasonable efforts are made to keep the service available, but maintenance windows, outages, and breaking changes may occur.
Account termination
By you
You can stop using Kyew at any time. To request full account deletion, contact [email protected].
By Kyew
Kyew reserves the right to terminate accounts that violate these terms, particularly in cases of abuse or illegal activity. If your account is terminated, you will be notified and given an opportunity to export your data where possible.
Limitation of liability
Kyew is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Kyew is not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to data loss, service interruptions, or issues with third-party integrations.
Disputes
Any disputes will be resolved in good faith through direct communication. Contact [email protected] to raise any concerns.
Changes to these terms
Changes to these terms will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of Kyew after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
